Condolences

Sport Club Corinthians Paulista wishes to express their sadness at the death of Fabio Hamilton da Cruz, who died Saturday while working on the Arena Corinthians.

 

Cruz was employed by WDS Construções, a combined hired by Fast Engenharia to install the temporary seats at the stadium. Around 20,000 temporary seats are being added to the 48,000 capacity arena for use in the World Cup.

 

Corinthians sends its profound condolences to Cruz's family and friends. In a symbol of its respect, the club has declared three days of mourning.
